Manual
handling training
ctchealthcare offer manual handling training with
specific emphasis on the human aspects of moving
and lifting and focuses on the importance of postural
awareness throughout the manual handling process.
Presented over half a day, the training adheres to HSE
and Government recommendations for correct manual
handling in the workplace.
Ergonomic
training
Eronomics training is aimed at helping your employees
work more efficiently and productively by considering
a personal capabilities and limitations (equipment,
information, environment, etc.) when performing work
tasks. Good ergonomic practices can prevent injury and
lead to better performance and a healthier workforce.
Delivered onsite, the training consists of an introduction
to ergonomics and the associated risk factors, anatomy
and body mechanics, factors affecting ergonomics and
how to assess them and how to ensure good ergonomic
practices.
Emergency
first aid at work
ctchealthcare host courses for individuals who wish to
act as a first aider in their workplace. Candidates will
learn how to manage a range of injuries and illnesses
that could occur at work and will be equipped with the
essential skills needed to give emergency first aid.
Course are available in level 2 and 3 and also refreshers
are available for those continuing to keep updated.
Paediatric
first aid
This regulated and nationally recognised qualification
provides learners with the opportunity to develop
the skills and knowledge needed to deal with a range
of paediatric first aid situations, illnesses, injuries
and emergencies which can arise when looking after
children.
