Grandmother Beryl Bailey has been a patient at our Nantwich clinic since being involved in a car accident just before Christmas.
A long-time sufferer of rheumatoid arthritis, Beryl, 61, is undergoing a course of physiotherapy and acupuncture with Georgios Christopoulos.
Her neck movement has now improved and Beryl is enjoying more quality time with her young grandsons, aged eight and three.
She said: "The accident really set me back with managing the pain I suffer through my condition but the treatments are helping a lot. I can use my arm and move my neck and day-to-day movement isn't as painful as it was.
"Everyone is so friendly at the clinic and it's more like meeting old friends when I go for treatment."
Beryl was just 26 and a young mum of two daughters when she developed the condition.
She added: "People think it is an older person's disease but not always. Over the years it grew worse, affecting every joint in my body even my jaw. I did what mothers always do, and just coped.
"I have been treated by many physiotherapists over the years but Georgios is the best."
We felt Beryl's inspirational tale of motherly love, deserved a special treat.
As a belated Mother's Day gift, we presented a bunch of flowers from staff at our Nantwich clinic.

Physiotherapy is often an alternative to surgery - as keen footballer Chris Wearing has found.
As part of the ctchealthcare team, Chris put faith in the abilities of colleagues after suffering a nasty knee injury in a football tackle.
An MRI scan revealed a torn cartilage but the 29 year-old turned down surgery in place of the less invasive therapies offered by colleagues.
Now after a course of treatment at our Crewe clinic, he's set to run the 26.2 mile London Marathon in April!
Chris, 29, said: "I am living proof that in the hands of a skilled practitioner, physiotherapy works. Thankfully for me I was in the right place to receive care from the best in the business."
After a programme of acupuncture and strengthening exercises in our gym, Chris is set to notch up another medal for long-distance running.
He added: "Too many people opt for surgery which is invasive and carries risks. I'm so glad I didn't go down that route as now I am pain free and back to full strength.
"I've done half marathons in the past but always wanted to do the London event before I hit 30 and now I can.
"I know they are my colleagues but I can honestly say their knowledge and dedication is off the scale."
Not only achieving an life-long ambition, Chris is also running the marathon to raise money for a Cheshire children's charity.

Back to training hard in the gym is Jack Wood.
Jack, 29, had issues with the body’s largest and most powerful muscle group – his glutes – after several years of working out to help lose weight.
He said: “It’s great to be 8st lighter and happy with my weight and body shape but all that weight loss didn’t come without a cost.
“Tight glutes caused moderate back pain but after treatment with Ashleigh, it’s a lot better.”
Jack is back to his cross-fit training – a mixture of weights, gymnastics and cardio.
When he is not in the gym, he combines works at a call centre with gigs as a DJ.
He was treated at our Crewe clinic by Ashleigh Smith, a specialist in deep tissue sports massage.
He added: “Ashleigh was really friendly and professional. I had the massages then followed her advice.
“It was a great service and one I would highly-recommend.”

A visit to ctchealthcare for a back assessment saved the life of a retired music lecturer from South Cheshire.
Norma Hollingsworth had just returned from a driving holiday across France and was in treatment with our managing director Rick Carter when he spotted her swollen calf.
“Rick insisted I saw my doctor who diagnosed phlebitis – an inflamed vein – and gave me cream. It turned out to be nothing of the sort, said Norma.
“It was thanks to Rick’s persistence that I was sent for a scan and DVT was found, a condition that killed my mother and could have sent me the same way.”
After a simple course of Warfarin, she was back to her lifelong love of playing the cello.
All that could have ended due to arthritis in her fingers but a course of treatment - including massage, manipulation and acupuncture – allowed her to continue playing.
She went on to gain a Masters and Doctorate in music and performs regularly with four very busy orchestras in the area.
Now she visits the Crewe clinic regularly for back and shoulder maintenance.
She added: “Rick isn’t afraid to challenge a diagnosis and get you to the right consultant if needed. He cares about people and goes the extra mile.
“I can’t recommend him highly enough.”

Marathon runner Jim Rice is back on track after treatment at ctchealthcare.
After decades of problems with his knee, the 77 year-old had to abandon his lifelong passion for running.
Now he’s sprinting towards recovery after being cared for by our managin director Rick Carter.
Liverpool-born Jim said: “I was pretty much written-off after three cartilage operations on my knee. Rick spotted a problem with my gait and recommended a knee brace.
“Now I’m back on the treadmill building up my runs and hope to tackle a marathon next year.”
A keen runner since a schoolboy, he’s notched up 21 marathons – including London, Paris and New York.
Next summer he plans to do the Manchester 10k in memory of his wife Helen.
Meanwhile he is notching up longer runs and greater speeds at Simply Gym in Crewe before hitting the roads of South Cheshire.
He added: “Rick went beyond the call of duty to put me right, even taking me to see the consultant at the orthopaedic hospital in Oswestry.
“He understood that running had been my life and after losing Helen I needed to get back out there.
“I can’t recommend him enough.”
Rick said: “Helping a great bloke like Jim makes everyday worthwhile. We see the whole person not just the injury. Treat the physical and you help care for
We’ll certainly be there to cheer Jim on in the Manchester 10k next summer.

Back on the road to recovery is Sharon Arnold - a patient at our Crewe clinic.
Sharon, who works for Bentley Motors Ltd, suffered an excruciating shoulder injury while playing Touch Rugby.
For months she lost the use of her left arm but now she’s back to walking her dog and enjoying photography and embroidery as hobbies.
“It all began last summer,” said Sharon. “I had always been a rugby fan and thought I would give Tough Rugby a go. But during my third game, I slipped and fell heavily on my shoulder.
“First it was put down to ligament damage but I took things further and saw ctchealthcare. I’m glad I did because it was much more.”
Sharon had broken and dislocated her shoulder – and an operation was needed to repair the damage. Still with limited movement, she then had to undergo a manipulation under anaesthetic.
Throughout the ordeal, she saw Caroline McCarthy at our Crewe clinic for physiotherapy to help increase movement and strength.
Now she has 95% of use back in her arm and has returned to work with the luxury car manufacturer.
“I can’t begin to imagine what my situation would be if I hadn’t have gone to ctchealthcare, she added.
“You always know that the patient is number one. Caroline and the team were with me every step of the way. Their care was absolutely superb.”
For appointments with Caroline call our Crewe clinic on 01270 588244.
