Having trained in rheumatology in Manchester he currently runs specialist combined clinics with Orthopaedic colleagues (hand/foot and ankle) and a combined high-risk obstetric clinic and musculoskeletal ultrasound clinic in addition to general rheumatology clinics. He developed Osteoporosis assessment and treatment pathways for Mid Cheshire Hospitals.
He has interests in Osteoporosis, Musculoskeletal Ultrasound and Early Inflammatory Arthritis.
He is the Principal Investigator representative on Research and Development Committee at the Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Trust and Principal Investigator for 3 NIHR portfolio studies in rheumatology at Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Trust.
