Grandmother Beryl Bailey has been a patient at our Nantwich clinic since being involved in a car accident just before Christmas.
A long-time sufferer of rheumatoid arthritis, Beryl, 61, is undergoing a course of physiotherapy and acupuncture with Georgios Christopoulos.
Her neck movement has now improved and Beryl is enjoying more quality time with her young grandsons, aged eight and three.
She said: “The accident really set me back with managing the pain I suffer through my condition but the treatments are helping a lot. I can use my arm and move my neck and day-to-day movement isn’t as painful as it was.
“Everyone is so friendly at the clinic and it’s more like meeting old friends when I go for treatment.”
Beryl was just 26 and a young mum of two daughters when she developed the condition.
She added: “People think it is an older person’s disease but not always. Over the years it grew worse, affecting every joint in my body even my jaw. I did what mothers always do, and just coped.
“I have been treated by many physiotherapists over the years but Georgios is the best.”
We felt Beryl’s inspirational tale of motherly love, deserved a special treat.
As a belated Mother’s Day gift, we presented a bunch of flowers from staff at our Nantwich clinic.
