Working in association with Sefton Psychology Services Dr Oliver Sefton is able to provide the following services to individuals and organisations: Psychological Assessment, Psychological Therapy, Neuropsychological Assessment, Neuropsychological Treatment, Consultation for Services and Organisations, Bespoke Training.

Dr Sefton is a Senior Clinical Psychologist chartered with the British Psychological Society (BPS) and registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC). Dr Sefton has experience of working across a wide range of services including adult mental health services and neuro-rehabilitation settings in the NHS and private sector. He has achieved Chartered status and Associate Fellow status with the BPS. Both of which are legally recognised, and reflect only the highest standard of psychological knowledge and expertise, and which mark recognition of several years’ experience and contribution to the field of psychology.

Dr Sefton is experienced in providing evidence based psychological therapies, integrated where necessary, to help individuals overcome their difficulties. He has specific expertise and experience with successfully helping individuals with difficulties including but not limited to low mood, anxiety, stress, phobias, obsessive compulsive disorder, confidence issues, adjustment after acquired brain injury and neuro-rehabilitation. The therapeutic models he uses include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Brief Solution Focussed Therapy, Brief Psychodynamic Therapy and Mindfulness Based approaches.
